The Farm
In the years following World War II, Scott’s grandfather purchased the original 260 acres that would become the heart of the farm. Scott spent his childhood here, following his grandfather around and learning the work of the farm.
When Scott and Sherri married, they purchased the farm in 1993 and began building the operation together. What started with around 50-60 cows has grown over the years as they've continued to invest in the farm and expand our pastureland.
Today, they care for nearly 900 acres of rolling pasture, beautiful countryside, and family memories.

We rotate our cattle through the pastures so they have fresh grass while giving the land time to rest. We've installed miles of water lines throughout the farm and check our cattle every day. For us, caring for the land and animals go hand in hand. Healthy, soil-rich pastures support healthy cattle.
The better you take care of the land, the better it will take care of you. Farming is hard work, but it’s a life we feel incredibly blessed to live, and our door is always open. We love welcoming people to the farm so they can see where their food comes from. We’d love to have you!
Caring for what we’ve been given
The Beef
We raise Hereford and SimAngus cattle with a focus on daily care, good nutrition, and a love for our animals. Our calves are born August through October on warm, dry pastures and are cared for closely throughout their lives. We monitor our herd every day and vaccinate to help keep our cattle healthy and minimize the need for antibiotics.

Farm to Fork
We believe quality beef starts with taking care of the animal first. When an animal has good food, fresh water, proper care, and less stress, we believe it shows in the finished product. We offer our beef by the half or whole beef, giving families the opportunity to fill their freezer with beef raised right here on our farm. To us, there’s no greater compliment than knowing someone trusts us enough to put something we’ve raised on their family’s dinner table.

We’re Scott and Sherri Betz, and this farm has been part of our family story for generations. Agriculture has always been more than a job for our family: it’s a way of life. We’re thankful for the people who help make the farm run, including Kaili, who connects our farm with families looking for quality beef. At the end of the day, though, you’ll find us doing what we’ve always done: caring for the cattle, tending the land, and putting in the work that keeps the farm moving.
Our processors play a huge role in helping us bring our product from our farm to your freezer. There are so many others behind the scenes, from those who help care for our cattle and pastures to the local businesses and agricultural partners who keep a farm like ours running. It takes a community to raise good food, and ours is no exception.
